Singapore
Singapore is located in Southeastern Asia between Malaysia and Indonesia. It is about 687 square kilometers which is a lot smaller than the Philippines. Singapore is a compact state and a fragmented state. This means it is split up into pieces and is small and efficient. Singapore is 100% urbanized and all of the cities there are major cities and contain lots of people. Singapore has no land boundaries.
Most of Singapore used to be rainforest ans swamp before being completely urbanized. Lowlands are found along the coast. This picture shows how Singapore is between Malaysia (Yellow) and Indonesia (Blue).

The Philippines is located in Southeastern Asia between the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea. It is approximately 298,170 square kilometers which is very large. The Philippines is a fragmented state which means it is broken up into many different islands. The Philippines also have no land boundaries at all.
